These two subjects are covered in one training session with instruction on how to respond to emergency situations involving Asthma & Anaphylaxis.
Course is conducted using a Power Point presentation in the information session.
Practical session with scenarios/simulators.
Pre-course information on Asthma & Anaphylaxis is emailed to you to read before session.
The theory component is covered in written assessments at the time of the course.

Learning Outcomes:

  • On successful completion of the course the participant will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following:
  • VU22927 - Manage asthma risks and emergencies in the workplace
  • VU23090 - Provide first aid management of anaphylaxis
  • VU23091 - Develop risk minimisation and risk management strategies for anaphylaxis

Pre-course study information is supplied to each participant prior to attending the workshop session. This minimises the time required at the course workshop.
