Certo, the right way of doing First Aid

The training sessions were very informative and every year we learn something new. We like the fact that the trainer has worked with the QAS and has hands on experience on the subjects that he teaches. It gives us confidence that we’re getting the best training available.

The trainer and the whole team are very proactive. They respond to my enquiries within minutes. All our electricians are very happy with the training provided and we’re fortunate to have not only someone with hands on experience in emergency care but also a qualified electrician to train our staff: a perfect combination of experience! Certo’s prices are very competitive without compromising on the quality of training.

We love the fact that they offer a very hands-on course with the most up to date training manikins which give us instant feedback on how well we’re doing the CPR. If we ever need to do it in real life, we have the confidence that we will be doing it effectively. They’re also very quick to send certificates.

I attended your course on Saturday morning and by Tuesday afternoon I was performing CPR on a stranger. My family and I were going for our regular afternoon walk when I saw a man yelling for help as he was pulling a passenger out of his car. I ran over to the guy who was now on the ground in the car park. Thankfully there were 2 people already helping, a registered nurse and another bystander.  The bystander and I shaved the man’s chest to get ready for the defibrillator while the nurse performed CPR. As we learnt in our course, CPR is very exhausting so when the nurse got tired I jumped in and took over. The man was starting to turn blue and the defibrillator shocked him 5-6 times. The ambulance then arrived and took over and the man survived!

I have done a lot of First Aid working in day care and as a teacher’s aide and thanks to Marcus and Certo First Aid Training this is the first time I have felt comfortable and confident doing it.
